Things are going well for franchisee Fredrik Sönne, who started his third Blackstone Steakhouse in 2022. His first two restaurants are located in Gothenburg, and this time the doors opened in Kungsbacka. Fredrik sounds almost ecstatic when describing the franchise concept.
It's as simple as it is brilliant. As a franchisee, you receive a lot of support and knowledge from the founders; the concept is extremely well-thought-out and clear. It's practically just a matter of going along for the ride," Fredrik explains.
He explains that the Blackstone concept is so unique that guest visits are usually planned and pre-booked. This means that the restaurants don’t have to be in an AA location, making it easier to find the right premises. The customer base for a Blackstone Steakhouse is very broad. Guests at his restaurants are of all different ages and come from many different parts of society.
They who come to us can be anything from groups of friends, work colleagues, business guests, couples and families with children," he continues. "It's not so strange maybe; most people enjoy socializing, having a good time, and getting a complete experience during dinner.
All Blackstone restaurants are decorated in the same spirit, and you can fell it, whether you enter a restaurant in Falun or in Gothenburg. The restaurants have their own style, and as a franchisee, you get all the support needed when it’s time to decorate.
With the Blackstone Steakhouse concept, running a restaurant becomes efficient. Fredrik continues. The guests cook their own main dish, which makes it easier for the chefs during service compared to a traditional restaurant. The head chef ensures that the ingredients are top-notch and handled correctly. He or she also puts their touch on the sauces, sides, and starters and desserts. Then it's more about delivering the food, ensuring that guests receive top-class service.
We are looking for entrepreneurs who see the potential in a good idea and have a knack for good business and profitability. We believe our franchisees need to have a strong inner drive and be prepared to invest and work hard. Naturally, one must also have a passion for good food, service, and quality.

Mattias Sjöö opened his first Blackstone Steakhouse in Gävle in 2018. Today, he also operates a Blackstone restaurant in Örebro.
